Q: I don't see _________ on the available characters list. Can I still hold / apply for him / her?
A: Yes! We went through the lexicon quickly when putting together the character list so we're bound to have missed somebody. Just ask on the available character page or email the mod at speculorum@gmail.com

Q: The character I want is dead in canon. Can I play him / her anyway?
A: We are definitely open to non-canon interpretations. If you have a particular idea, please ask the mod.

Q: I want to play in your game but I have no idea who to play! Help?
A: You can check out our most wanted characters page, where current players advertise for characters they'd like to see.

Q: I have NO idea what PB to use...
A: A really fantastic PB resource is pb_updates, which has many tags, both by character and by age, skin tone, and hair color.

Q: I read through your premise, but I'm still a big confused. Did ________ happen? What about ________ ?
A: For the purposes of this game, you can assume that the sorcerer's stone, the chamber of secrets, Remus Lupin exposed as a werewolf, Sirius Black as an escaped convict, the Tri-Wizard Tournament, Cedric's death, and the spectacle at the Quidditch World Cup did not happen.

A: As his death occurred before our AUness happened, my short answer would be yes. My long answer, however, would be tell me why he isn't and make it good and maybe you'll change my mind.

Q: Does the Order of the Phoenix exist in this game?
A: Yes, of course it does! While the Order reached its height as an offensive and defense organization during the First War, it has remained as a group of friends and colleagues who enjoy getting together to talk about old times, sometimes plan mischief, and just generally have a good time. Who knows? Maybe the Order will be needed again...
